All of the linens were very clean. The shower was clean. The bathroom had granite countertops. Location was perfectly close to walk to the Braves stadium. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. However, the curtains were old/stained, the bed and pull-out couch were not comfortable. There was no safe in the room to lock up valuables. The hotel felt more like a 2-2.5 star hotel, but we were expecting it to be nicer. The pool had a lot of chipping paint.

Excellent service and clean facility. You are greeted with freshly baked cookies at check in. The hot breakfast was good and you can make your own large waffle. The only upgrade they need to do is remove the carpet in the room and replace it with a laminate. Friendly and kind staff. Don't forget to tip because they work hard to keep things clean, I know it's their job but all humans want to feel appreciated.

Upon checking into Country Inn & Suites in Marietta, GA, I went to the room and realized that the room was occupied. As soon as I opened the door, I observed a crumpled top bedding sheet and a hotel key/card and gray personal bag on the desk. Beside the bed were two black travel bags. I quickly took pics and returned to the lobby to alert the hotel staff Gigi of this error. I showed her the pics on my phone. The hotel staff attributed the room assignment error to the new computer system ("Choice") and coworker's mistake. She apologized and then assigned me to the room immediately beside the first room. I reminded her that my reservation was for two queen beds and not a king as was the first occupied room. I told her that I was a little spooked walking into an occupied room (although the occupant was not there) and did not want to be next door to that first room. In retrospection, I am thankful that the occupant of the first room was not present, which could have harmed me and put me in an unsafe situation. Female travelers especially should be alert to this possibility. The hotel staff assigned me to another room on a different floor, which was acceptable. Though the bathroom floor looked to need some cleaning (I took a cleaning wipe and noted dirt on it) and the bathroom door was in poor repair (cracked and splintered wood), otherwise my overall stay was satisfactory.

One of the nicest Country Inn's I have stayed at. Very clean and updated. Staff was helpful and friendly. Was pleasantly surprised. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Easy to get on and off highway. If you were going to a baseball game it would be a good property to stay at.

The front desk friendliness and location is the only saving grace for this hotel. I travel frequently and I'm a Bonvoy member. I now know that's the chain of hotels that I'll stick with. Carpets are old and stained throughout the 5th floor. Great size king room, however the mattress was old and hard. 1st room had a noticeable stain. Did i take a peek at the bare mattress? Of course I did- disbelief. Sheets and towels were dingy. Washcloth was so old and bleached it felt like sand paper. Stains on bathroom walls, broom/vacuum neglect and thourough cleaning needed to phone, lamp, dresser, doors. Bathroom is outdated and was so small two adults couldn't stand comfortably. T
